February 8, 2000 in aviation accident history

Posted on Feb 08, 2012

On February 8th, 2000 WGN radio host Bob Collins was killed when the plane which he was piloting, collided with another plane while attempting to land. In 2007 the cause was officially determined by a US District Court Judge to be the fault of the air traffic controller and FAA for failure to properly separate the two planes.

Curry, Pearson & Wooten represents clients harmed in aviation cases due to air traffic controller error.
