A flight from Brazil to Miami experienced severe turbulence that left six American Airlines crew injured. The turbulence hit about two hours into the flight, while flight attendants were busy making their rounds about the cabin. Passengers report that one of the crew was hit by a food cart that flew into the air, damaging the planes ceiling and then injuring her. There was an ER doctor on board who was able to stabilize everyone injured and the flight proceeded to Miami. Once at Miami those injured were taken to the hospital, everyone is said to be released.
