Small plane crashes while trying to land in snowstorm

A small plane crashed in northern Ontario on Tuesday while attempting to land in a snowstorm. There were five people onboard, including the pilot. The Transportation Safety Board of Canada has confirmed there was only one survivor. The community is in a remote area that is only accessible by air and winter roads. The community was also burdened by having little to no emergency resources to assist with the rescue effort.
